Syria: Kurdish parties agree on Supreme Political Marja

Aldar Khalil, Member of the Presidential Board of the Democratic Union Party, said that the Kurdish parties of Rojava (Kurdish part of Syria) has agreed on the formation of the Supreme Political Marja, in their second phase of dialogues.

Khalil asserted that in the first phase of the dialogues, mutual political understanding was formed, and the second phase includes 3 points; building of Supreme Political Marja, Self-governing situation, and Military and Security issues.

He also added, "The Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) have come to an accord, and the name of the marja will be Supreme Kurdish Marja."

The negotiations for the process of uniting the Kurdish parties of Rojava have been started since April, under the supervision of U.S representative in the international coalition and Mazloum Kobani, Commander in chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
