The Co-leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahur Talabany, remembers the third anniversary of the passing of the PUK Secretary and first elected President of Iraq, Mam Jalal.
Talabany writes about Mam Jalal in his Twitter account, “He dedicated his life to the Kurdish cause & gave hope to a generation because he believed in Kurdistan. Even in times of great crisis, he displayed the courage, wisdom & vision to lead.” Adding more to say, “Mam Jalal, the void you’ve left will never be filled but we promise to continue in your path.”
