Lahur Talabany visited Qaladiza town, pledging PUK's support for the region

The Co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahur Talabany, arrived in Qaladiza town of Ranya district, emphasizing on PUK’s support for the region, on Tuesday, Oct 13, 2020.

The visit came as part of the PUK Co-leader’s visit to Raparin administration, and upon arrival he was received by a vast number of people.
During delivering of a speech, Talabany praised the role of Ranya and Qaladiza’s people in Kurdistan Region’s revolution, appreciating the sacrifices they give for the freedom of Kurdistan Region.

Later on, Lahur Talabany addressed the ramifications created by the Coronavirus pandemic, "We, in the PUK leadership, provided great support and assistance to the citizens and to lower their suffering, and we stood with our masses, but the spread of coronavirus and the health isolation that occurred prevented us from visiting most areas and seeing the citizens' problems,"

Moreover, he reiterated that PUK will do everything to support health sector and help the people of the region in combating coronavirus.
The Co-leader of PUK, Lahur Talabany, has previously visited Ranya district on Monday, Oct 12, and allocated about one million Iraqi Dinars to complete a hospital which was devoted to treat coronavirus patients.
