On Sunday, Nov 8, a delegation from Kurdistan Toilers’ Party headed by Balen Abdulla, Secretary of the party, and they were received by Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Member of PUK politburo’s Executive Board, in Erbil.

In the meeting, members of PUK political bureau, Dr. Soran Jamal Tahir and Saadi Ahmed Pire, members of PUK Leadership Council, Haji Masifi and Dr. Rebwar Ismael, attended.

The meeting focused on addressing the current Kurdistan Regional situation, relations between political parties and forces, and both sides agreed that the crises and issues have to be ended.

The relation between political parties shall be rebuilt on the ground of public interest and serving citizens, they asserted.

Another part of the meeting was to discuss the tie between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and Kurdistan Toilers’ Party, they agreed the historical relations between the two parties should be further developed and expanded.

During the meeting, the Kurdistan Regional status quo, relation between Erbil and Baghdad, rapid changes of the region, and the possibilities open to the Kurds were all explained.
