Deputy Manager of Slemani Health Directorate states that the number of coronavirus infections is decreasing.
On Sunday, January 10, Dr. Hersh Salim, Deputy Manager of Slemani Health Directorate stated that “The coronavirus situation in Slemani is alleviating in a way two hospitals which were previously allocated for COVID-19 patients are now empty of patients, but ready for any unprecedented outcome.”
Salim also added, “Only 42 infectees are remained in the hospitals now, of which 20 of them are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).”
He further asserted that the morbidity and mortality by coronavirus have been reduced by 65%.
