Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) stated that he has been infected with COVID-19, on Monday, Jan 11, 2021.

In a twit, Qubad Talabani, Deputy PM of KRG wrote, “After conducting a test, the result showed that I have been infected with coronavirus, thus I have to quarantine myself for a while till I recover.”

Talabani also added, “I wish safety for everyone, please keep up practicing preventive measures.”
