On Sunday, Feb 14 the negotiating delegation of Kurdistan Regional Government headed to Baghdad to further discuss the Kurdistan Region’s financial share with the financial committee of Iraqi parliament.

Samir Hawrami, Spokesperson of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), said: The KRG delegation led by Deputy PM Qubad Talabani arrived in Baghdad to continue discussing the Kurdistan Region’s financial quota in the 2021 budget draft with the financial committee of Iraqi parliament and Iraqi political factions.
Hawrami also added, “During the previous meetings, the KRG delegation has handed over all the necessary data and information regarding the oil and non-oil revenues.

He asserted “The KRG delegation has showed full readiness to reach an agreement with the federal government on the basis of constitutional laws.”
