A member of financial commission in Kurdistan parliament states “If the Iraqi parliament passes the general budget draft without Kurd, then Kurdistan Region will use its options and will be able to provide own budget and salary with those options.”

However, he added that “Erbil will seek agreement until last step.”

The choices and political decisions of Kurdistan Regional Government are not obvious, but could self-administer itself by implementing the reform law and reducing payments.

In spite of giving notice to international community, its reforms allows Erbil to provide its budget and salaries, a law expert said.
