The Co-Leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Lahur Talabany issued a statement, supporting the attitude of KRG’s Deputy PM regarding the rights of families of martyrs.

Below is the context of his statement:

“I want to thank the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani for his effort and approach concerning the rights of the families of the martyrs, Anfal and political prisoners. The people of the Kurdistan Region, of all the social classes, are owners of the wealth both under and above our blessed land. We cannot let their rights be taken from them due to the political intentions.”
