The Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Health announced on Sunday, in a statement, new record of COVID-19 cases in the region.

According to the statement, 843 new positive cases of coronavirus have been registered within the past 24 hours, raising the total number to 146,031.

Regarding the number of deaths due to the virus, 15 patients have succumbed to COVID-19 which raised the death toll to 3,959. 

The statement also pointed out that 794 patients have been recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries from the infection to 122,829.
