On Friday, May 28, Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Supreme Political Council and Interest of PUK, received Fazil Mirani, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)'s political bureau, in Slemani.

During the meeting, the two sides addressed the Iraq and Kurdistan Region's current situation, and reiterated the importance of unity in the Kurdish interior home to obtain the national ambitions.
