The Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, inaugurated a number of health units in Slemani, on Sunday, June 13.

Following his return from Penjwen district of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani opened Pediatric hospital, Pediatric Emergency Unit, Intensive Care Unit in Maternity hospital, Intensive Care Unit of Coronavirus, and Gastrointestinal Center in Slemani.

The PM delivered a speech, appreciating the Kurdistan Region’s health ministry, Governor of Slemani, and Health Directorate of the city for the service they provide, pointing out that heath sector is one of the government’s priority.

He then asserted that nearly an appropriate health infrastructure has been built to combat COVID-19.
