The General Directorate of Tourism in Slemani announced the number of tourists arriving to the governorate on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, on Friday.
 
"On the occasion of Eid al-Adha about 85,000 tourists have arrived in Slemani, according to initial statistics.", the Directorate of Tourism said.
 
It added, "The arrivals are mostly from the central and southern governorates of Iraq, indicating that their entry to Slemani was through the land ports and the airport."
