The Co-Leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Qubad Talabani, welcomed the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal in Slemani, on Saturday, Aug 29.

The two sides addressed the conditions of youth and sports in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Qubad Talabani presented his observations and ideas for improving the sport sector and supporting youth and athletes.

The two sides agreed to initiate several public projects in the near future to develope the conditions of youth and sport sector.

"I always say, it's time for our athletes, artists, and young inventors to be the stars rather than the politicians," Qubad Talaban said in his Facebook account.
