Chief of PUK’s executive board, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, received on Sunday the new Consul General of Canada to Kurdistan Region.

In the meeting, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul congratulated the new Canadian Consul General on his new position, and reiterated PUK’s support on his tasks.

The overall situation of Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the upcoming Iraq’s parliamentary election were part of their discussion. The two sides exchanged opinion over the existing issues in Iraq, and ways to resolve them.
