The library of Ahmed Chalabi, Iraqi politician and a founder of the Iraqi National Congress, opened on Sunday, in Baghdad.

In a ceremony, attended by the Iraq’s Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, Kurdistan Region’s Deputy PM, Qubad Talabani, Chief of the PUK politburo’s executive board, Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, and a number of Iraq’s politicians and officials, the library of Ahmed Chalabi opened.

Chalabi was a well-known Iraqi politician and former president of the governing council of Iraq. He had a major role in toppling the former Ba’ath regime and building the new Iraq.
