Iraqi parliament's first session postponed at the request of some political parties

A Kurdish lawmaker in the bloc of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said that the first session of the Iraq’s house of representative, which is scheduled to be held in the morning, have been postponed.

Karwan Yarwais, Iraq’s MP said, “At the request of some political parties, today’s session of Iraq’s parliament have been postponed to 03:00PM.”

He added, “The meeting was deferred in order to bring about consensus.”
