In a phone call with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, that was initiated by the President of the Republic of Iraq, President Salih condemned the recent attack on the UAE's civil facilities.

In the phone conversation, President Salih emphasized that these attacks violate and threaten regional security and stability, now that is to say that the UAE's security and its stability are part of the parcel of the security and stability in the region as a whole.

Furthermore, the president underscored Iraq's support for the UAE's security, placing emphasis on the important relations between the two brotherly states and peoples.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, for his part, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the sincere brotherly feelings and the supportive attitude expressed by His Excellency towards the UAE.

Additionally, he commended efforts made by Iraq to bring about peace and security in the region.
