The Kurdistan Region's deputy PM, Qubad Talabani, commended the role and sacrifices of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in recapturing Ghwayran prison of Hasaka from ISIS terrorists.

"I greatly appreciate the courage and sacrifice of the Syrian Democratic Forces in seizing the terrorists who wanted reorganize their ranks and disrupt stability in the region through making chaos,"

He extended his deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs of the Ghwayran prison operation and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

"This incident tells us ISIS still is a serious threat, and we must not overlook in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, rather be prepared. And it is the duty of all of us to confront them." Qubad Talabani said.
