The French ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, visited the shrine of the late President Jalal Talabani and laid a bunch of flower on his grave.

Chevalier was accompanied by the French Consul General to Kurdistan Region, Olivier Decottignies.

“The President Jalal Talabani was a unique and impressive leader of the Iraq and Kurds, and his departure left a huge damage to the democratic process and peace in Iraq and the region.” the visiting guests said.
