The Iraqi President Barham Salih called on holding serious negotiations between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq regarding the decision of the Iraqi Federal court about Kurdistan Region’s oil and gas exportation.

Salih asserted, “The Kurdistan Region and Iraqi government must find a mechanism via dialogue to implement the Iraqi Federal court’s decision regarding the oil and gas export that shall guarantee the constitutional allocations of the Kurdistan Region and all the Iraqis.”

He also asked the Iraqi House of Representative to hold session on the oil and gas bill.

“The uncertainty of the political parties concerning the approval of the oil and gas bill was a factor of creating issues and crises, and reaching the current stage that all have faced its consequences.” Iraqi President said.
