On Monday, the high-ranking delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) headed by Bafel Jalal Talabani met up in Baghdad with the leaders of the Coordination Framework, which included Noori al-Maliki, Haidar al-Abadi and Qais Khazali.

The meeting focused on the attempts toward formation of the new Iraqi government, ways to remove the obstacles, and emphasized on practising dialogue to resolve the issues.

Another part of the meeting stressed on preserving security, and political and economic stability. The attendees reiterated to find a proper way to eliminate the obstacles in front of the new cabinet formation. The two sides agreed that a firm and serving government must be formed in a way that can fulfill the demands of all the Iraqi ethnicities and nationalities.
