On Tuesday, Mar 15, Amin Baba Sheikh, spokesman of the PUK Political Bureau, received David Hunt, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Baba Sheikh addressed the importance of the bilateral relation between the PUK and United Kingdom.
"The United Kingdom has been a major partner in freeing Iraq and confronting ISIS," he said.

He added, "Britain has been a continued supporter of the Kurdistan Region, and Peshmarga forces in providing military training and reorganizing them."

Regarding the formation of the new Iraqi government, Baba Sheikh asserted that PUK is passionate about forming the new Iraqi cabinet soon, and backs a government that can serve the Iraqi people and meet their demands.
