Bafel Jalal Talabani met up on Saturday with the members of the Iraqi parliament's PUK bloc, in Baghdad.

During the meeting, Bafel Jalal Talabani talked over the latest developments and political changes, and informed the Iraq's PUK MPs about the attempts to resolve the Iraq's political impasse.

He then clarified the latest PUK's stance as a responsible and protector of the national rights of the Kurdistan Region's people.

He said, "PUK will rule no decision out of our national will and interest, and will accept no imposed will either."

He added, "By depending on the prestigious history of the PUK and our people, all of our steps and decisions are in favor of unity and guaranteeing our nation's justified rights."
