Bafel Jalal Talabani received a phone call from Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the Sadrist movement, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

During the phone call, the political situation of Iraq, new Iraqi government formation, overcoming the issues and obstacles, and finding a mechanism to resolve the political deadlock situation were discussed.

The two sides reiterated to continue on negotiations so as to resolve the existing problems.
