Bafel Jalal Talabani congratulated the Muslims on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

"I convey my warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and the world on the occasion of the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan." Bafel Jalal Talabani said.

He added, "I hope that this blessed month will strengthen the spirit of harmony and coexistence among all nationalities, components, and religions. I ask all the parties and political forces in Kurdistan and Iraq to make this blessed month an opportunity for self-review and steps towards addressing problems and providing a stable and prosperous life for the people of Kurdistan and Iraq."
