Bafel Jalal Talabani and the leaders of the Coordination Framework discussed the latest developments in Iraq and ways to address the political impasse on Wednesday night in Baghdad.

The meeting dealt with the coordination framework initiative that was presented as a way out of the political impasse that Iraq is going through.

Both sides emphasized the need to formulate an initiative that addresses the problems through dialogue and mutual national understanding between the political parties to serve the legitimate demands of citizens in order to build a secure and stable future.

On the other hand, the Head of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's (PUK) bloc, Harem Kamal Agha, received Ammar al-Hakim, head of the al-Hikma Movement, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of PUK's bloc members, in addition to Rabiha Hamad, Head of the PUK's Baghdad Organizations Center.

In the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the hardships in forming a new government.

For his part, al-Hakim stressed the positive role of the PUK, especially the role of the late President Mam Jalal, in bringing the parties together and solving problems and blockages.
