The Kurdistan Region's deputy PM, Qubad Talabani, met on Friday with Tony Blair, former PM of UK, on the sidelines of the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the Iraq and Kurdistan's overall situation.
Qubad Talabani said in a tweet "It was an absolute pleasure to meet Sir Tony Blair at the Delphi Forum. I asked many questions on effective reform strategies and how to overcome obstacles governments face in implementing plans & policies. Of course we also talked a little about Iraq and the challenges ahead."
He added, "I benefited from his personal views and his memories with President Mam Jalal, Tony Blair except that he has rich political experience, he also has special views and perspectives on the political equations of the Middle East and the world in general."
