On Monday, a high-ranking delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) headed by Bafel Jalal Talabani received a delegation from Al-Azm Alliance headed by Musana Samiraai, a number of leaders from the Alliance and members of the Iraqi parliament.

During the meeting, the latest development and changes to pass the political deadlock situation of Iraq were addressed. The two sides agreed that the issues shall be resolved via dialogue and the political parties shall be allowed to participate in the decisions councils.

The two sides also stated that the new Iraqi cabinet should be formed on the ground of constitution and real partnership in a way that can represent all the ethnicities and provide more stability and prosperity in the country.
