The former Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, congratulates Bafel Jalal Talabani on his election as President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Abadi stated in a message on Sunday, May 29, that he has full trust on the steps Bafel Jalal Talabani takes to achieve the targets.

He has also said, “The political forces are in front of multiple national responsibilities to protect the state and obtain the people’s interests for all the ethnicities and nations,”

The former Iraqi PM asked the political parties to increase cooperation and coordination so as to achieve the people’s demands, security and stability.
