Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, meets with the leaders of the coordination framework in Baghdad.

During the meeting, which was attended by Darbaz Kosrat Rasoul, administrator of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK)'s Political Bureau, and Khaled Shwani Member of the PUK Leadership Council. They discussed the obstacles facing the political process in Iraq and the formation of the new Iraqi government. They agreed to accelerate the formation of service and national government that reflects the political reality and the aspirations of Iraqi citizens.

In the meeting, they emphasized the need to resolve the issues on the basis of the constitution and recourse to constructive dialogue as a positive step for political, economic, and security stability in the country.

President Bafel Jalal Talabani said that, "the developments and changes require us to be concerned about national unity and take actual steps to serve citizens and political stability and to reach a national solution."
