Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Iraqi President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi at Mam Jalal's house in Baghdad.

During the meeting, the political, economic, and security situation in Iraq and efforts to gather political forces and parties and increase the language of dialogue and understanding was discussed.

Another part of the meeting was devoted to discussing the role of the government in improving the lives of citizens and providing more services and reform processes and fighting against corruption was described as important steps.

President Bafel stressed the need to continue the wise policy of the late President Mam Jalal and said that "the presidency and the Council of Ministers can play an important and effective role in building peace and stability in Iraq. "

"We hope that dialogue and understanding will be the basis of work and all efforts will be for a brighter future for citizens," he added.
