Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) met with Amar al-Hakim, Head of the Hikma movement, in Baghdad.
The meeting discussed the latest political developments and steps to form a new government, stressing the unification of efforts to overcome iraq's stagnating political situation.
In the meeting, Amar al-Hakim, Head of the Hikma movement, praised the efforts of President Bafel and PUK to bring the parties close together, saying the PUK is following president Mam Jalal's wise policy, and this is the right policy Iraq needs which can lead the country to a healthy political situation.
In turn, President Bafel Jalal Talabani insisted on national consensus and compromise, saying that PUK insists on resolving problems and creating a strong government that can provide services to all without discrimination and guarantee the rights of all nations and ethnicities.
