On Sunday 5/5/2019 both PUK and KDP signed their final agreement on the attempts of new Kurdistan Regional government formation.

A senior delegation from KDP visited PUK Political Bureau's head quarter in Sulaimani and met up with the senior PUK politicians to sign their final agreement on new cabinet formation.

Following the meeting, deputy Secretary General of PUK-Kosrat Rasul, and deputy Secretary General of KDP-Nechirvan Barzani, held a press conference.

"I hope to serve the people together" Rasul said during the press conference.

On the other hand, Barzani said "I will state merrily that today all the three sides; KDP, PUK ad Goran Movement reached the final agreement"

According to the leaked information, PUK has taken the following positions in the government: Speaker of Parliament, deputies of Kurdistan Presidency and Prime Minister, 6 Ministers and many more positions.
