Qubad Talabani and a U.S delegation met up to address speeding up the attempts of new KRG (Kurdistan Regional Governmnet) formation, and improving the relation with Baghdad.

On May 9,2019 deputy PM of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, held a meeting with a U.S Foreign Ministry delegation headed by David Satterfield, US assistant Secretary of State to Middle East.

"we have discussed speeding up of the attempts to form the new Kurdistan Regional Government and improving the relations with Baghdad" Talabani wrote in his Facebook account.

In the meeting, US Consul General to Erbil Steven Fagin, forerunner of US embassy tasks in Iraq Joe Hood and commander of coalition forces in Iraq Paul LaCamera, have attended.
