On July 2 and 3, 2019 Kurdish Elite Congress in Sanandaj province of Eastern Kurdistan (Iranian part) will be held for the first time.

The congress will be held at Mawlawi hall in Kurdistan University at Sanandaj, and a number of Kurdish elites from the different sectors of culture, literature and art will participate.

In the congress, panels, musical concerts and exhibitions will be presented, and 30 public figures from different academic aspects will be awarded.

Some Kurdish elites from  Kurdistan Regions have been invited, including Mazhari Khalqi, who is a famous singer that has not been to his city (Sanandaj) for 40 years.
