Kurdistan Regional Government’s spokesman denies the government being aware a head of a Kurdish party’s bombardment by Iran last year.

A BBC Persian correspondent stated earlier that the Kurdistan Regional Government was aware of the Iran’s missile attack on the Iranian Kurdish opposition parties in 2018 in Koya province.

However, spokesman of KRG (Kurdistan Regional Government) rebuffed the correspondent’s speech, “Erbil was not notified prior to the bases of Democratic Party being bombarded by Iran in Koya.” Jutyar stated.

On September 8, 2020 Iran launched 10 missiles on to the bases of Kurdish Democratic Party in Koya province, which caused a number of the party’s cadres and leaders death.
